Ethiopian Harrar

Ah the Ethiopian Harrar. We roast it normally to a full city-medium dark roast, but it's good light roasted also. Legend is that an Ethiopian goat herder discovered the powers of the coffee plant after watching his herd behave rambunctiously after grazing on coffee plants. He tried some himself and discovered it gave him energy. The Ehtiopian Harrar has a bit of citric acid in it that gives it a fruity flavor, but it also smooth and silky with a bit of a dry finish. Known as mother of all coffees, the Ethiopian is a must try on your list of coffees to try.
